You do.
You step into Threadwyke’s Great Hall, your empty Commission Ledger in hand. Here you will meet your patrons, weave yourself into the community, and fill the pages of your Commission Ledger with a record of the garments you create.
And perhaps, along the way, you will stitch together a life of your own.

What is a journaling & sketching game?
In this game, you take on the role of the main character (a seamstress or tailor) and play on your own, at your own pace, creating a story as you go. The rulebook provides the events, characters, and prompts; you decide what happens and record it in your sketchbook or journal.
If you’ve never played a game like this before or don’t consider yourself to be a writer or an artist, don’t worry. Whether you fill your journal with brief bullet points and scribbled sketches, or write pages of flowing prose and full-color illustrations, it is a perfect record of your time at the Faire.

In Stitchery Faire, you are a young seamstress who has come to the quaint town of Threadwyke for the ten-week Stitchery Faire.
COMPONENTS
Besides the 108-page, fully illustrated rulebook, you will only need one or two six-sided dice, a deck of standard playing cards, and writing or drawing supplies to start playing!
THE WEEKLY GAMELOOP
Each week, you will meet a patron, create a garment, interact with the community, and record your story in your journal or sketchbook.
- Connection: Your charm connects you to a patron who wishes for a garment.
- Creation: Put your artistry to work as you create the design.
- Completion: Complete and deliver the garment, thanks to your diligence.
- Community: Your reputation is affected as the community comments on your finished creation.
When the ten weeks of the Fair are complete, you will have crafted an impressive collection of designs for your patrons—and perhaps also established your own shop, discovered a permanent patron, or forged a lasting relationship.
