In Stitchery Faire, you are a young seamstress who has come to the quaint town of Threadwyke for the ten-week Stitchery Faire.
Each week, you will meet a patron, create a garment, interact with the community, and record your story in your journal or sketchbook.
THE WEEKLY GAMELOOP
- Connection: Your charm connects you to a patron who wishes for a garment.
- Creation: Put your artistry to work as you create the design.
- Completion: Complete and deliver the garment, thanks to your diligence.
- Community: Your reputation is affected as the community comments on your finished creation.
When the ten weeks of the Fair are complete, you will have crafted an impressive collection of designs for your patrons—and perhaps also established your own shop, discovered a permanent patron, or forged a lasting relationship.

What's Inside: More details
- Artwork: The book is generously illustrated with full-color, hand-drawn art.
- Character Creation: Develop a dressmaker (or tailor) with a background, optional slight enchantment, and motivation rooted in the world of Threadwyke.
- Talents & Tool Tables/Cards: Every time a talent grows, you gain a (possibly slightly enchanted) tool.
- Add the custom Reference Deck to draw illustrated tool cards and keep them with you throughout the game.
- Patron & Community Tables/Cards: Discover the names, manners, and particular roles of the characters you’ll interact with throughout your weeks at the Faire.
- Add the custom Community Deck, where each character's name, role, and specialty are printed directly on the card!
- Complication Tables: Complications may occur during any phase of a commission, but with the right tool, talent strength, or enough grace, a complication may be transformed by a serendipity clause.
- Opinion Tables: Each patron has 2-5 opinions across categories such as mood, trimming, or occasion, which they wish you to incorporate into the design.
- Creatures of the Faire: Each week, you will be visited by a creature (cat, hedgehog, mouse, raven) who may affect the course of your commission and can become a permanent companion after three visits.
- Add the custom Reference Deck so you can keep each creature's illustrated card, with its effects and action table, handy during their visit!
- Encounters & Endings: Expanded Jack, Queen, and King characters. Learn their names, callings, and how they weave into your story and shape its ending with Relationship, Patronage, or Establishment.
- The Legend of Threadwyke: An illustrated appendix that lets you integrate a side-quest, the discovery of Threadwyke's legend, into your time at the Faire.
- Style Dictionary: Three pages full of garment design details to roll on as tables or browse as inspiration for your design.
