You are a seamstress who has come to the quaint town of Threadwyke to attend the ten-week Stitchery Faire. You step into Threadwyke’s Great Hall, your empty Commission Ledger in hand. Here you will meet patrons, fill the pages of your Commission Ledger with the garments you design, and weave yourself into the community. And perhaps, along the way, you will stitch together a life of your own.

What is a Journaling & Sketching Game?

This is a game where you take on the role of the main character (a seamstress or tailor) and play on your own, at your own pace, creating a story as you go. The rulebook provides the events, characters, and prompts; you decide what happens and record it in your sketchbook or journal.

If you’ve never played a game like this before or don’t consider yourself to be a writer or an artist, don’t worry. Whether you fill your journal with brief bullet points and scribbled sketches, or write pages of flowing prose and full-color illustrations, it is a perfect record of your time at the Faire.
